Frequently Asked Questions

Questions from the current customers

  1. How often do I need to turn in the W-4 form to my employer?
Generally, one should update W-4 whenever there is major change within the family: got married, had a baby, bought a house, etc.

  2. What is the due date for filing our family's income tax returns?
The original due date is April, 15 of the following year. One can file an automatic extension if your data are not ready. But the extension is only for tax return filing purpose, not the time you pay all your taxes to the IRS and state government. You can estimate how much you would owe government agencies and send in the balance, if any, by original due date. Any overpayment can be refunded back to you when the returns are filed and accurate numbers are known.
